These gum flavors were discontinued by Adams/Mondelez in 2015. In 2018, Gerrit J. Verburg Co. acquired the brands so that they can be enjoyed once again. Made using the same original flavors, but slightly different recipe, these gums will bring old memories back to many who have missed them over the past few years.

Keep in mind this is a new product, by Gerrit J. Verburg, that is similar (not the same) to the original Adams/Mondelez product. This product seems to have a weaker flavor than the previously discontinued products. However, the flavor lasts longer. So, it is a weaker, longer lasting flavor VS a stronger short lasting flavor.

The Black Jack brand is the oldest flavored gum brand on the market, originally launched in 1884. The Beeman's Gum is a Pepsin flavored gum, which is similar to a wintergreen or teaberry flavor.
